While fire prevention week may be coming to an end, remember fire safety isn’t just one week out of the year, it is a daily task to keep you and your home safe. Every home should have a fire extinguisher, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Become familiar with how to use a fire extinguisher by using the PASS acronym (Pull, Aim, Squeeze and Sweep), Mark your calendar to check all of your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors monthly as well as a reminder to change the batteries in each of them every 3 months. Here at Company 5 we hope you have found the resources provided this week to be helpful and a good reminder of what fire safety looks like. You may contact us at anytime with questions or concerns you may have regarding becoming fire safety smart.
